FAQ
Questions
Do I need my own guitar?
Yes — you'll be practising between lessons, so you need one at home. For in-person lessons you can play a studio guitar for the first session while you decide what to buy; ask during the consultation.
Electric or acoustic first?
Whichever makes you want to pick it up. Electric strings are lighter and easier on the fingers; acoustic builds strength faster. The technique transfers either way.
How often should I take lessons?
Weekly is the sweet spot. Every two weeks works if you practise consistently. The lesson is where you get direction; the progress happens in daily practice between them.
How long until I can play a song?
With a daily practice plan, most beginners are playing a simple full song within the first month. Rock riffs and solos come as your technique catches up — and that is what the lessons are for.
Do you teach kids?
From about age 10, yes. Younger players depend on the child — book a free consultation and we'll find out together.
Do you teach in Farsi?
Yes. Lessons can be in English or Farsi.
What do I need for online lessons?
A guitar, a laptop or tablet with a webcam, and a stable connection. Position the camera so both hands are visible. Headphones help.
Can you help me work through your book?
Yes — many students use Easy to Learn Guitar Theory as the backbone of their lessons. We can go chapter by chapter and apply each idea on the fretboard.
Can I do a one-off lesson?
Yes. A single 60-minute lesson is $80, no package required.
